02 — HOW IT WORKS

One payment, five hops— even offline.

No internet on your phone doesn’t mean no payment. PayPulse routes the transaction through Bluetooth until it reaches something that does.

01 · PHONE

Tap to pay

You initiate a UPI-style payment on your PayPulse app — no SIM signal or Wi-Fi required.

02 · BLUETOOTH

Encrypted over BLE

Payment details are encrypted and broadcast over Bluetooth Low Energy — short range, low power, no carrier needed.

03 · BLE / MESH

Relayed hop by hop

If the nearest device isn't online either, the payload relays mesh-style, device to device, until it finds one that is.

04 · BRIDGE

Reaches an internet-enabled bridge

Any nearby device with connectivity — another phone, a router, a kiosk — picks up the signal and puts it online.

05 · SPRING BOOT BACKEND

Verified & settled

The backend authenticates the transaction, processes it, and writes it to the database. Both parties get confirmation.
